It's way past 3:00 p.m., but Belle Marie and friends are still in their pajamas—and trapped in the magical land of Belzerac! Held captive by the musicians, someone needs to break the cycle of never-ending music before it's too late. Will Belle rise to the occasion?

Rachel and Joseph Tey, respectively the author and illustrator of fantasy adventure novel, Tea in Pajamas, will be visiting the Singapore American School on Thursday, April 13 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. They will meet with the parents of elementary students to discuss creative writing and how to publish a children's book, as well as conduct a mini workshop to selected students on scene-setting with the right words and imagery.

About Tea in Pajamas

What if by doing something ordinary, you unlocked the gateway into a world of the extraordinary? For Belle Marie, having tea on Wednesday afternoons—barefoot and in her pajamas—mysteriously transports her from her home to the charming storybook land of Belzerac. Soon joined by her best friend, Tess, the girls enjoy weekly adventures in this wonderful new place of talking animals and a glittering blue forest. But one particular Wednesday, Tess suddenly vanishes and things go awry. Is Tess in danger and is it too late to save her? Belle is confronted with these frightening possibilities, coupled with the fact that she herself may be lost and beyond the point of return.
