SAS PTA Book Fair

Read the world! The SAS PTA book fair will be held in the elementary library from November 20 to November 22 from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Our partner, Closetful of Books, is bringing 10,000 books including popular titles such as the newest Lego, Minecraft, Geronimo Stilton, Magnus Chase, Trials of Apollo, Land of Stories, Spirit Animals, Candy Shop War, Mr Lemoncello's Library, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Tom Gates. There will also be many award-winning picture books, and a dedicated parents' corner with coffee table and gift books.

Kindergarten through fifth grade students will attend with their teachers. Students' teachers will let them know what time slot your child will attend. Children in the early learning center may attend after school with their parents. We encourage parents to help their children shop and buy gifts as well!

Students in kindergarten through second grades should bring cash in a labeled envelope. Third to fifth grade students are permitted to purchase books with either cash, checks or SAS cash cards. Parents are welcome to use NETS, credit card, checks or cash. Checks should be made out to 'CLOSETFUL OF BOOKS'. Book prices range from $5 to $40.

Proceeds from the book fair support SAS PTA events such as visiting authors and artists, library enhancements, as well as scholarships for graduating seniors.
